0 Kenny's College Football Top 10

By Kenny Howell

Not much changed this week in the Top 10, so I will make this brief. Things will get shaken up in the coming weeks when some of these teams start playing each other. Also, you won't see West Virginia on this list because elite teams don't give up 63 points.

1. Alabama (5-0) - Didn't look dominate against Ole Miss, but they won easily. Still the defending champs.

2. Florida State (5-0) - I was tempted to drop them after a so-so performance against South Florida, but they got the job done. I'll let them stay until they inevitably blow it later in the season, Florida State style.

3. Oregon (5-0) - Washington State hung with the Ducks for a half, but Oregon took over in the second and never looked back for the Fighting Leaches.

4. Notre Dame (4-0) - Sticking with the Irish here because they have proven the most against pretty good teams so far this year.

5. Georgia (5-0) - Moving the Dogs up in place of LSU because their offense is pretty darn good. Tennessee's defense is bad, but Georgia looked like they were going through the motions at times. Got some defensive issues to fix, but the Vols offense was second in the SEC.

6. LSU (5-0) - The Tigers continue to drop because they haven't showed up the last two weeks against inferior opponents.

7. Florida (4-0) - Gators will try to take down LSU this week, and may get the job done. Nothing overly flashy about them, they have just gotten the job done.

8. Oregon State (3-0) - Beavers got another solid win, this time over Rich Rod's Arizona Wildcats. Just keep winning against good talent.

9. Kansas State (4-0) - Didn't play this week, but still riding high off the win over Oklahoma.

10. Texas (4-0)/Ohio State (5-0) - I couldn't decide, so they are both here. I dislike both of them, so I wish they weren't.
