0 Kenny's College Football Top 10

By Kenny Howell
Some major changes in the Top 10 this week as some big upsets occurred near the top of the rankings. So here you go.

1. Alabama (5-0) – They were idle, so they can’t drop. And they are still the champions.

2. Oregon (6-0) – Oregon continues to dominate the west coast, as they pulled in another big win over Washington.

3. Florida (5-0) – South Carolina went to No. 3 in most polls, but Florida, I think has done more this season. Florida has three big wins this season, two on the road, and South Carolina got the one big one.

4. South Carolina (6-0) – The Gamecocks hadn’t been all that impressive so far this season, but that changed with the dismantling of Georgia Saturday.

5. Notre Dame (5-0) – The Fighting Irish still haven’t beat a great team this season, but they have beaten several good ones.

6. Kansas State (5-0) – The Wildcats look in the driver’s seat in the Big 12, with West Virginia their main competition.

7. Ohio State (6-0) – Urban Meyer has the Buckeyes rolling now. Maybe because he has players like Cardale Jones who tweeted that he shouldn’t have to go to class since he came to Ohio State to play football. “We ain’t come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS,” he tweeted. Well said.

8. Oregon State (4-0) – Beavers keep winning. That is all.

9. West Virginia (5-0) – Defense is still very suspect for the Mountaineers, but they got a solid win against Texas. Still think if they play an elite defense, things aren’t going to go well for them.

10. LSU (5-1) – The Tigers’ defense is the real deal. Their offense, not so much. They will have to grasp the concept of the forward pass to get back to the top.
