0 Preds drop three in a row in Cali

From nhl.com

Just as you think things are looking up for the Predators, they take a 3 game nosedive against Anaheim, San Jose, and Los Angeles knocking themselves out of the NHL power rankings and quickly moving themselves toward the back of the pack in the Western Conference. Last night against the Kings, Nashville was unable to contain the defending Stanley Cup champions in their final meeting this season. In the third period alone, LA was able to tally four unanswered goals, which two of those third period LA goals were sent in by Jeff Carter. He also scored the first goal of the game in the second period laying down a nice canvas for his hat trick. That makes five goals in a row Nashville was unable to stop. The lone goal scorer for the Predators was Gabriel Bourque at 13:05, assisted by Weber and Erat. This would prove to be too little too late as the time would expire a few short minutes later. After watching these three games, it makes me sound like Fred Willard from A Mighty Wind

Nashville continues on their journey with back to back home games this Friday and Saturday against Edmonton and Minnesota. Hopefully they can get their game together as there is only so much the 7th Man can do to help.
